The Forth Rail Bridge jigsaw puzzle
The Forth Rail Bridge is one of the world’s great engineering feats. Today, 130 years after its opening in 1890, the bridge’s distinctive and innovative design still marks it out as one of the country’s iconic landmarks.
The 1950s view featured in this jigsaw shows the bridge in all its glory from the southern shore at Queensferry, and dates from the golden age of railway travel in Britain, when thousands travelled on holiday by train every year.
