Plan of the Battle of Culloden 1746

Booklet containing a facsimile of the Culloden battle plan. This unique manuscript map was drawn up around 1748 by a French officer who was present on the day. The battle was the last fought in Britain between two regular armies and put to an end the Jacobite hopes of a Stuart restoration.

The facsimile is presented in a beautifully illustrated folder with historical background and plan of the disposition of the Hanoverian and Jacobite troops.
