Delivery
Orders to all UK addresses will be dispatched standard post. Subject to stock availability we aim to deliver to most UK addresses within 5-7 working days of receiving your order. This is subject to any local postal service stipulations.
We can deliver by post worldwide. We cannot deliver prints larger than A1 outside the UK.
Please note that the Royal Mail postal service that we use is not tracked.
PO Boxes
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Delivery times for Custom Prints
As each print is handmade to order they take a little longer to prepare. We will dispatch your order as soon as it is ready, separately from any other items. We aim to complete and dispatch most of these orders within one week.
Returns for Custom prints
These prints are very delicate and extra care should be taken when you receive your delivery. They are very difficult to re-pack once opened and we cannot accept returns unless your item is faulty, or the wrong print has been delivered.

International delivery
Delivery prices exclude any local duties and taxes that may be payable by the customer on delivery. Please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Click and collect
If you prefer, you can collect your item(s) in person from the Library shop, which is in our main building in Edinburgh: see our George IV Bridge location map . Please check our opening hours before visiting us.
We will email you to let you know when your order is ready for collection.
Returns
If for any reason you are not totally satisfied with your order you may return it to us (unused and it its original packaging, with all relevant documentation) within 14 days of delivery. You are responsible for the cost of returning products to the Library.
You will receive a full refund of the price and any charges you paid for the products. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights which remain unaffected.
Please note that items returned do not become the National Library of Scotland's responsibility until received by us.

Faulty items
Should an item be faulty, we will replace it at no extra charge.
If you are returning an item because it is faulty or because we have made an error, we will refund the postage. Otherwise, you will be responsible for such cost.
